To the VMUNC VII Staff and Honorable Delegates,

It is our absolute privilege to welcome you to VMUNC VII, the seventh iteration of Vista del Lago’s Model UN Conference! Whether you’re stepping into your very first committee session or returning as a seasoned delegate, we are honored to have you join us.

Model UN is special because it’s not just about debating policy—it’s about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, meeting people from different backgrounds, and learning to see global issues from a new angle. We know it can be intimidating to raise your placard for the first time, but we promise that the energy, creativity, and passion you all bring will make committee sessions exciting and rewarding.

This year’s theme, A World Reimagined: Innovation, Inlcusion, Intervention, challenges us to think about the world we live in and how our generation can make a difference. VMUNC is a conference specifically designed for delegates of all experience to be able to come together. So, whichever commitee you’re in we encourage you to be bold with your ideas, stay open minded, and have fun with it!
