VMUNC’s inception six years ago started as an outlet for novice delegates to foster and supplement their debate, collaboration, and solution-creation skills. The first VMUNC, under Secretary-General Ethan Bray, yielded two unique committees: DISEC, with Cyber Warfare, and the joint crisis British-Pirates committee.

Though it has progressed long past the inaugural conference, the spirit and core values of VMUNC continue to manifest themselves today. We hope that both delegates novice and advanced walk away from VMUNC knowing that they have partook in international diplomacy and accomplished immense things!
