  • Professional business attire – we look forward to seeing everyone in suits, dress shirts, ties, slacks, skirts, and dress shoes!

  • Position papers should ideally be printed out for reference during the conference. Laptops and other personal devices are encouraged for appropriate use (e.g. drafting resolutions with peers) but, will be discouraged by chairs if seen to be distracting to yourself or other delegates.

  • Yes! VMUNC is meant as a preparation for larger conferences. It is an open space to enhance your parliamentary procedure, discourse, and collaboration skills in a low-stakes environment. Any general questions can be directed to the Secretary-Generals and specific questions regarding committees can go directly to the respective chairs.

  • VMUNC is aimed to be a low-stakes conference, providing novice delegates an outlet to fine-tune and develop their debate and cooperation skills. However, we highly encourage delegates to construct a position paper (if applicable) to help obtain some knowledge surrounding their committee. If you still have any lingering questions on committee logistics, we encourage you to contact your chairs.

  • Lunch will be provided depending on the tier of VMUNC VI you purchased.

    Basic - $31: Entry to the Vista Model United Nations Conference (Lunch not included).

    Silver - $35: Entry to the Vista Model United Nations Conference AND a lunch ticket (2 slices of pizza and water).

    Gold - $40: Entry to Vista Model United Nations Conference, lunch ticket (2 slices of pizza and water) AND priority chair feedback.

  • VMUNC V, hosted by Vista del Lago High School, will be at 1970 Broadstone Parkway in Folsom, California.

  • Best Delegate, Outstanding Delegate, and Verbal Commendation. Research Awards will also be available, given that the position paper in question has been submitted on time. These awards will be determined by the chairs. 

  • VMUNC has a strict NO REFUNDS POLICY. Unfortunately, due to the difficult refund process that takes place through the district, we are unable to provide refunds.
